Cairnbrook Dak Cairns is in Brookings, S. D.  We are small breeders with only 1 or 2 litters a year.  Our Cairns are raised in the home with a big back yard.  They are given lots of love and socialization.   We also show our Cairns at dog shows.  Our Lucy was the Number 4 Cairn bitch in the nation for 2004 and has 22 Best of Breed awards .  My husband and I both handle the dogs. We are not a kennel  We love to have visitors and  for you to see yourself the environment in which these dogs are raised.    Remember these dogs generally live to be 13-15 years old so picking a dog with the right personality is a must..  

Beginning

This is Tony, our very first Cairn which we got some43 years ago.  He lived to the ripe old age of 17 and was much loved.  Our three children grew up with him.  He came from the kennel of  Col. Fred Olander who showed dogs many, many years ago.
